This is the thread to keep updated on the campaigns and elections.
It would also be interesting know who you want to win, which aspects are bad/good and so on.
As for me, were I 18 my vote would be going to Labour. I'm fine with lib dem but I really don't want a tory (I mainly disagree with most of their policies).

I should probably find out more about all their different policies, really, because I have NO idea who I'd vote for if I could. Razz

I live in a very Labour-y household, and I'd probably be thrown out or at least told off very severely if I ever voted Tory. As far as I can tell, they've both got plenty of things wrong with them, but then again, there must be a reason why the Lib Dems don't get many votes...aaargh, I don't know! I'll have to just be proactive and try to find out more.

Lib dem get less votes cos they have fewer secure votes each time. Tories will always get a secure vote from the far right and labour will always get a secure vote from the far lefts. Lib dem cant get a secure "middle" vote cos thats who the others target to get the majority, ergo lib dem have very slim chances of ever getting full power, coalition maybe but never full.

The main thing to ask is: When you go to university and you're struggling and poor, who's going to be more helpful? Labour or Tories? As far as I'm aware the question answers itself.

Well this is it. The 16th May 2010. The day of election. Please, anything but a tory government but I have this horrible feeling that Cameron will take on Brown's position and it won't be long until he takes smiling mask off and we'll see what really is going on in the conservative party. Help the poor, help the old, help the young? Yeah right, all they want to is make more money. Who knows, maybe they'll even throw us into a second recession.
